It is with regret that Wendy,Mike and myself have decided that it is no longer viable to continue with the Shows.In the present economic climate we appreciate that shows are not a prioroity and with costs escalating and entries falling this is the time for us to retire.
We have been very fortunate over the years in having friends who have helped with sponsorship on a regular basis and without their help this time may have come sooner.We must also thank the stewards and helpers who have given their help freely on a regular basis.If there was to be an award for stewarding it should go to John Halliwell who has stewarded the Cob classes for many years and enjoyed every minute of it.
We thank all of you who have turned out in all weathers to support our Shows over the last 25 years and look forward to seeing you out and about.
I might even manage to get some showing done myself.
